1 Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to MyFrnchy ("MyFrnchy", "we", "us", or "our"), a product of Zunix Labs. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our mobile application or website (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use MyFrnchy. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2 The Service
MyFrnchy is a health and lifestyle tracking application designed specifically for French Bulldog owners. The Service lets you:
- Record daily health logs (energy, appetite, stool quality, breathing, mood, and more).
- Track medications, vaccinations, vet visits, grooming appointments, feeding, weight, and expenses.
- Receive breed-specific educational content and AI-assisted insights through FRNCHY AI.
- Export records and share them with caregivers where supported.
3 Your Account
To use most features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and login credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us promptly at support@myfrnchy.com of any unauthorized access.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep your account details up to date.
4 Beta Program
If you join a MyFrnchy beta, pilot, or early-access program, you acknowledge that:
- The Service is pre-release and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or unexpected behavior.
- Features, pricing, data, and user interface may change materially before general release.
- We may, at our discretion, reset test data, suspend access, or end the beta program with reasonable notice.
- You agree not to publicly share screenshots of unreleased features without our written permission.
5 Subscriptions & Billing
MyFrnchy offers both a free tier and a paid Premium subscription.
- Free tier: access to basic tracking features with a limited history window.
- Premium monthly: $7.99 USD per month, auto-renewing each month.
- Premium annual: $59.99 USD per year, auto-renewing each year (approximately 37% savings versus monthly).
- Free trial: new subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. If not cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically convert and you will be charged the applicable fee.
Payments are processed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or our payments partner RevenueCat. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Except where required by law (such as by platform rules or the refund policies of Apple or Google), payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes will not apply to billing periods already paid for.
6 FRNCHY AI & Veterinary Disclaimer
MyFrnchy is not veterinary care. FRNCHY AI, page tips, summaries, health scores, and other AI-generated content are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are not, and are not intended to be, a substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis, advice, or treatment.
- Always consult a licensed veterinarian for any medical concern about your dog.
- In an emergency, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately.
- AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on them to make medical decisions.
You accept full responsibility for any actions you take based on information from the Service.
7 Your Content & Data
You retain all rights in the content you submit to the Service, including health logs, notes, and photos ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, back up, and display Your Content solely so we can operate and improve the Service for you.
We will not sell Your Content. We may process Your Content in aggregated or de-identified form to improve the product. Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
8 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, harvest, or automate access to the Service without our written consent.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or related networks.
- Use the Service to train a competing AI model or build a competing product.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.
9 Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, logos, copy, and FRNCHY AI prompts, is owned by Zunix Labs and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
10 Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including (non-exhaustive) Supabase for data storage, OpenAI for AI processing, RevenueCat for subscription management, Apple and Google for app distribution and billing, PostHog for product analytics, Sentry for crash reporting, Resend for transactional email, and Google Places for location lookups. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
11 Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY AI OUTPUT OR CONTENT SURFACED THROUGH THE SERVICE.
12 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZUNIX LABS, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) USD $100.
13 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zunix Labs and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
14 Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing support@myfrnchy.com. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your license to use the Service ends and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents you from seeking relief in small-claims court where available.
16 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
